Padres de familia Grado Tercero.

El tema para la evaluación de lectura del día miércoles 12 de junio consiste en repasar las notas al margen, lo resaltado y subrayado en el libro “La isla del tesoro”. Se establecerán relaciones con los textos del plan lector y habrá un ejercicio de opinión con respecto al tema generativo “Aventuras de piratas por los mares del mundo “. Ayer les recomendé a los niños comenzar desde ayer mismo la relectura para que no les quede el ejercicio para el último día. La evaluación del proyecto de escritura ya se realizó con la escritura del cuarto episodio del cuento que se viene desarrollando desde el comienzo del año.

Recomendaciones Primera Comunión

•        Ceremonia de la Luz: Estaremos haciendo el cubrimiento de la ceremonia tanto en vídeo como en fotografía. Recomendamos aprovechar los momentos previos como finales de la ceremonia para que hagamos fotografía de los niños con familias.

•        Recomendamos a las familias y a los niños mirar a las cámaras en los momentos que alguno de los fotógrafos pase junto a sus bancas.

•        Este martes 14 de mayo, después del ensayo en la Capilla del Femenino, estaremos enviando el vinculo en donde podrán descargar el “horario de citas” para la sesión de fotografía previa a la ceremonia de Primera Comunión del sábado 18 de mayo.

•        Es importante llegar al Gimnasio Femenino con anticipación a la hora de la cita, (10 minutos antes). Contamos con cinco (5) fotógrafos y estamos citando grupos de cinco (5) familias a la misma hora. En total son 15 grupos por lo cual es muy importante llegar puntualmente.

•        Durante los minutos previos a la hora de la cita, vamos a verificar que los nombres y apellidos de sus hijos como fueron registrados estén correctos, puesto que de esta forma aparecerán en la caratula del Photobook. De igual forma que la orden de compra o pedido sea correcto. (Esto en caso que no esté verificado durante la ceremonia de la luz).

•        La sesión de fotografía previa a la ceremonia de comunión, será un momento muy importante, pues el fotógrafo estará dedicado a su hijo y familia por unos minutos. Tener en cuenta:

* Puntualidad.

* No tomaremos fotos con equipos (cámaras o celulares) ajenos a Follow You.

* En el momento de pasar frente al fotógrafo, agradecemos haber hecho ya los retoques de maquillaje, peinado y ropa.

* Haremos las siguientes tomas en este orden:

-  Niño SOLO.

-  Niño con Mamá.

-  Niño con Papá.

-  Niño con Mamá y Papá.

-  Niño con Padres y Hermanos.

-  Niño con todos los acompañantes.

•        IMPORTANTE: Durante las ceremonias recomendamos apagar completamente los celulares. Así estén en “modo avión” o “silencio” la señal genera interferencias a los equipos de vídeo distorsionando la imagen. (No queremos que el sonido de los celulares queden registrados en el vídeo . No olviden hacer esta recomendación a todos los acompañantes.

•        En la parte final de la ceremonia, haremos una toma de grupo con todos los niños. Esto antes que se reúnan con sus familias y amigos.

•        ATENCIÓN: Nuestro equipo de trabajo tanto en video como en fotografía se encuentran identificados, ninguna persona esta autorizada para pedirles datos personales y mucho menos dinero.

Quarter IV: General Information

This quarter will have many activities, including preparation for the First Communion, “Fiestas Tradicionales”, concerts, and many other activities; therefore, it is extremely important for students to use their agendas diligently to include all of their academic responsibilities as well.

This quarter, students will continue to practice the weekly study strategy, in addition to practicing a different weekly research strategy.

Quarter IV: Unit Project

Students will create a futuristic world in space by writing/creating stories, auto-biographies, problems, and inventions. Students will create a magazine that will include information about their new world.

Quarter IV:  Overall Topics

English 

·         Reads with appropriate intonation and pronunciation and shows comprehension of the text

·         Uses the future tense(will/ going to) appropriately in negative, affirmative and interrogative phrases

El entorno problémico para explora arte durante el tercer bimestre, es el movimiento como concepto dentro de diferentes expresiones artísticas (veremos el arte óptico, el arte cinético y la animación). Esto será la base de ejercicios de identificación, clasificación, planeación de procedimientos, observación, caracterización, creación de trabajos plásticos, y redacción de planes de mejoramiento.

This quarter, we will focus on study habits in class and at home. Students will have a list of study habits to practice each week, in order for them to find which strategy has the most benefit when it comes to studying for any subject. 

Students will be practicing a specific study strategy each week. We would like to know that your son is practicing and it would be helpful if parents could write a little note each week in their agendas verifying that your son is using the strategy to study. 

The weekly strategies can be used in any of the subject areas, including Spanish, "Sociales", Math, English, Science, Explora, etc...

Students will practice the following strategies: 

Week 1: Memorizing daily notes taken in class

Week 2: Teach someone else about what you learned in school 

Week 3: Reread and rewrite notes from class

Week 4: Meet with a partner and discuss class notes (Skype, phone, meet afterschool...)
